Great pattern and fantastic service.
Generally this pattern is very great and looks good. However i have 2 issues with it. First the amount of yellow fabric listed in the pattern book is too little. I bought spare and still had to buy extra. Second problem is the arms are way too short. Both on me (178cm) and my partner (170cm) the sleeves barely reach past 2/3rds of the lower arm even in a relaxed position. I used the sizing chart and picked an XL which apparently means wider but not longer at all. Having a version for taller people would be phenomenal. Apart from the functional issues it looks great and is reasonably accurate. So for anyone considering this: extend the length of the sleeves. Pictures will be uploaded in a separate review.
Hey there,
Thank you so much for your review! I've gone back and fixed the amount of yellow fabric needed in the pattern book for any future customers, and appreciate your feedback so I could do so.
As for the sizing, my size chart works on the same 5'2 model for all sizes, so arm lengths may need to be adjusted dependant on your personal proportions, it's why I always recommend making a mock-up before diving into your final project. I'll keep adding tall sizes in mind for the future if I have the time/resources to do so.
Thank you so much again for your review and for helping to make my patterns better, happy making!
Pattern is good and easy to understand
I've been thinking about doing a Bridget cosplay, but the jacket made me hesitant in doing so, seeing as it looked kind of complicated to make. So, I'm super happy to see this pattern for Bridget's jacket! I feel like I'll be able to tackle making it now. Thank you! 🙂
