At first I was going to use everything but the shirt pattern because I didn't understand why it would be a zip up top instead of buttons. I cut out the wrap shirt and the 'skirt' portion did not match up at all. When measured it would not even fit the minimum measurements for the size, let alone the oversized wrap top. So that needed redrafting by me, and at that point I might as well make it an actual wrap shirt. The Haori sleeves were too short and incredibly bunched up at the shoulders so it just did not look good at all. After the mockup of that I've just decided to get another pattern for the haori and make the other patterns myself. Which is super disappointing as I bought this to save myself time. I've also bought the glove pattern in the past which I had issues with, but blamed myself for, but I don't think it's my fault anymore lol. For context I am an advanced level costume maker who has won awards so this is not a skill issue on my part, it's just a bad pattern
I do acknowledge that sometimes mistakes do happen and occasionally pattern pieces may be accidentally skewed with a mis-click or errors happen during grading. I always pride myself in immediately rectifying these issues as they happen with a re-draft sent to the customer and pushed out to previous customers immediately.
I reached out to this customer privately and had a discussion with them, however they have not told me what size of pattern they were using so I could make the fix to the wrap top's unaligned edges, leaving me unable to do so.
As for the jacket: A disclaimer has now been added to the pattern description to clarify that the jacket was pattern with a cropped-sleeve in mind, as that was the length in the reference images I was working off of, and I appreciate the feedback that this was a needed disclaimer. As with any sewing pattern, mock-ups are always recommended so folks can make any needed changes to fit their body and how they'd like their patterns to look.

Great pattern, I just wish the instructions had more pictures of what each step should look like to avoid confusion. I ended up only making the jacket and tunic pieces due to a con crunch btww
Really cute pattern! Just consider that the arms are too short, the Tunic has no sleeves (she has actually a longsleeve) and the undershirt buttons are fake on this pattern. I needed to freestyle here, but it's still great! I can recommend it if you know what to do, or if you are fine with that. Would still buy it again!!! 💖
